Autonomous Multi-Agent Systems and Voice SDR Platforms

A single prompt can answer a question. It cannot run a process. Real business work is a sequence of decisions, lookups, and actions across several systems, and a system that performs it reliably needs more than a model: it needs an orchestrator that owns state, specialist agents with narrow responsibilities, typed tools that cannot be called with malformed input, and a critic that checks every outcome against policy before it is written back.

InsightSol builds those systems for inbound and outbound operations. The same architecture powers text channels and voice: a Voice SDR platform adds streaming speech recognition, a dialogue policy that knows when to listen and when to speak, barge-in handling, and text-to-speech, while the agents behind it qualify, research, schedule, and write to the CRM exactly as they would for a web form.

Who this is for

  • Sales and revenue teams running outbound or inbound at a volume people cannot keep up with
  • Operations teams where intake, triage, and scheduling are still done by hand
  • Product teams adding an agent layer to an existing platform without rewriting it

What you receive

  • Agent topology with written responsibilities and confidence thresholds per agent
  • Typed tool contracts with input and output schemas
  • Policy document and critic rubric your compliance team can read
  • Evaluation suite of real anonymized cases, wired into CI
  • Voice layer with telephony, transcripts, and CRM write-back when the channel is phone
  • Runbooks, dashboards, and a recorded handover

Architecture pattern

How the system is put together.

The components we ship, in the order a request moves through them. Every boundary is typed, every failure path is designed, and every action is logged.

  1. 1

    Orchestrator with durable state

Each case is a state machine persisted in Redis or PostgreSQL. The orchestrator decides which specialist runs next, records every transition, and can resume after a crash from the last committed step.

  2. 2

    Specialist agents

Research, qualification, scheduling, and execution agents each hold a narrow system prompt, a short list of tools, and a confidence threshold. Narrow agents are cheaper to run, easier to evaluate, and far less likely to hallucinate.

  3. 3

    Typed tool layer

Every tool is a function with a JSON schema for input and output. Calls are validated before execution and results are validated after, so a malformed argument is a caught error rather than a corrupted CRM record.

  4. 4

    Critic and policy gate

A separate model pass scores the proposed outcome against written policy. Low scores or restricted actions route to a human with the full reasoning trail attached.

  5. 5

    Voice layer

Telephony through Twilio, streaming speech-to-text, a dialogue manager that handles interruptions and silence, and low-latency text-to-speech, with the full transcript stored and summarized into the CRM.

Failure prevention

Confidence thresholds with handoff

Agents escalate below a measured confidence level instead of guessing, and the human sees exactly what was tried.

Idempotent actions

Every write carries an idempotency key, so retries after a timeout never double-book a slot or duplicate a contact.

Prompt-injection fences

Untrusted content from emails, documents, and calls is isolated from instructions, and tool access is scoped per agent.

Evaluation suites in CI

Real anonymized cases with known outcomes run on every change to prompts, models, or tools before anything ships.

Measured in production

  • <80s

end-to-end research, qualify, and book transaction

  • 62%

of routine calls handled without staff (field-services deployment)

  • 5s

average first response, around the clock

How the engagement runs

From audit to handover.

A multi-agent build starts with the audit: we trace the process as people run it today, pick the transaction with the clearest economics, and prove the model can make the judgment calls it requires. Build runs in phases, each ending with the evaluation suite passing on real cases. Shadow mode comes before cutover, so the agents process live traffic alongside your team until the outcomes match. Most first systems ship in 45 to 90 days.

Questions about this service

Claude and OpenAI models by default, selected per agent for the mix of accuracy, latency, and cost the task needs, with open-weight models on your own infrastructure where data policy requires it. Provider abstraction means the choice can change later without rewriting the system.

Streaming speech recognition, a dialogue manager that handles interruptions and silence, and low-latency text-to-speech. The agent listens for barge-in, confirms what it heard, and hands off to a person the moment the conversation leaves policy.

It stops and escalates. Each agent has a measured confidence threshold; below it, the case routes to a human with the full reasoning trail, tool calls, and proposed action attached, so the person decides in seconds rather than starting over.
